Critical Theory Basics

Critical Theory is largely based on the works of scholars connected to the Institut für Sozialforschung, Institute for Social Research, also known as the Frankfurt School. The most influential writers have been Max Horkheimer, Theodor W Adorno, Leo Lowenthal, Herbert Marcuse and Walter Benjamin.
